Authorized construction sites are now under seizure: this is the current situation following the two investigations by the Tempio Pausania Prosecutor's Office, which culminated in the blocking of construction work at Li Liccioli (Porto Cervo) and Punta Nera (La Maddalena).
On the Costa Smeralda, the construction site of Val srl, a real estate company that obtained permits (from the Regional Government and the Municipality of Arzachena) for the construction of six five-star villas with swimming pools, "improving the quality standards of the existing structures and the landscape impact, with the use of green architecture materials and techniques," has been closed. The LLC that began the Li Liccioli construction site has all the necessary permits, but according to the Tempio Pausania Public Prosecutor's Office, the authorizations to transform the old residence into a complex that blends seamlessly into the landscape are unlawful and should not have been issued . Mario Chiodino, the director of the technical area of the Municipality of Arzachena, who signed the permits, has been entered into the register of suspects. Also under investigation are the project manager, Dino Petrarca, and the builder, Olbia-based entrepreneur Gavino Docche. Val srl, the contractor for the works, assisted by lawyers Gian Comita Ragnedda and Luca Montella, has obtained permits to demolish and rebuild on the Li Liccioli site, a stone's throw from the Hotel Cala di Volpe. According to the same seizure order, the new buildings do not contain a single cubic meter more than authorized. The other defendants are represented by Antonello Desini, Jacopo Merlini, and Maria Caterina Pisano.
Even the Punta Nera pier in La Maddalena, seized by the Forestry Corps, has been authorized, according to the client . In fact, the Punta Nera company has obtained around ten permits.
According to the LLC's lawyer, Alessio Bittu, the company acted in full compliance with current regulations, carrying out the work in accordance with the authorizations.
