The nursery school on Via Corona, in Is Bingias, of the Pirri 1-2 State Comprehensive Institute, will remain closed for at least a week to allow urgent work to be carried out to secure the building. The reason is related to copious infiltrations of rainwater into the premises. The decision was made with an ordinance signed today by the mayor of Cagliari Massimo Zedda, which takes effect immediately.
Access to the school will be permitted for the collection of teaching materials and for the company that will carry out the work. From tomorrow, Tuesday 22 October, and until further notice, teaching activities will take place in the other locations of the Institute. The school in via Corana will reopen once the safety measures have been completed, which are estimated to take approximately five days to complete.
