The State Police have ordered the suspension of the license and subsequent closure, for a period of 15 days, of a well-known public venue in the center of Olbia.
The measure was adopted by the Police Commissioner pursuant to Article 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety, following a series of serious incidents that occurred in May, highlighting a concrete threat to public order and safety.
In particular, following numerous interventions by the local police station's patrol cars, it emerged that the aforementioned establishment is a "regular meeting place for individuals with criminal and police records, as well as proven dangerous individuals, as demonstrated by recent incidents that have occurred there, including assaults, one of which involved the use of a hammer, and a fight."
The Police Headquarters emphasizes that any repetition of similar incidents could result in the revocation of the manager's license, and the measure adopted "is preventive in nature and aims to temporarily block access to the premises by individuals deemed dangerous, while simultaneously protecting public order and the safety of citizens."
