They roamed on jet skis in the stretch of sea protected within the Asinara National Park . Four people were stopped, identified and fined over the weekend by the Porto Torres Coast Guard .

The four yachtsmen were surprised by the military while, regardless of the rules and prohibitions governing navigation in "zone B" of the Park waters, safeguarded as a general reserve, they whizzed by on their jet skis, which are prohibited throughout the area.

In general, according to the Park regulation and the relative supplementary disciplinary, entry to the Area with pleasure craft (excluding jet skis) is allowed only through three zones: Fornelli, Cala Reale and Cala d'Oliva, using specially placed access corridors .

It is also permitted to moor, upon reservation and payment of the foreseen ticket, exclusively within the buoy fields authorized by the park authority.
