No involvement in the arson raid against Paolo Maludrottu, the two people arrested in Olbia on charges of setting fire to a boat reject all claims.
The suspects, Peppino Dessena and Giovanni Ruggero, both from Olbia, appeared before the Tempio investigating judge, Alessandro Cossu.
The events occurred in the very early hours of Tuesday near a pier, close to the public housing in the central Via Roma. According to the prosecutor, the two approached Malodrottu's boat a few moments before the fire.
According to the documents, everything would have happened under the eyes of the agents of a police squad from the Olbia police station. Dessena and Ruggiu, defended by the lawyer Luca Tamponi, strongly deny all the accusations. The defender claims that there is no evidence of the two's involvement in the arson raid.
