In view of the summer season, the large concrete staircase built above the Argentiera beach, located in the Nurra, in the territory of Sassari, appears increasingly in decay and ruin: a great danger for tourists and residents. It has been maintenance-free for many years and has worn out over time railings and handrails and without adequate protection systems. The sign with the indication of the beach and another, next to it, prohibiting the passage, also screeches.

Built in the 70s, the concrete staircase, one of the entrances to one of the most famous beaches on the island, has been highly criticized above all by environmental and territorial protection associations, which have always defined it as "a building shame and an offense. to the landscape ".

The residents of Argentiera (just over a hundred) are resigned: "The institutions know this situation very well - some of them say - The staircase should be demolished or at least made safe in an appropriate manner. But nobody does anything".
