300 kg of waste was collected yesterday in Porto Palmas, in the Sassari area. Twenty-seven Plastic Free volunteers, coordinated by the initiative's promoter Roberto Manca with the support of Serena Solinas, cleaned up the beach and surrounding areas, which were unfortunately overrun with garbage.

These included a fire extinguisher, a submersible pump, a tire, various household items, PVC pipes, a wooden construction board, glass bottles, plastics, microplastics, a cigarette pack, and a pillow. All illegal "disposals" attributed to the behavior of various uncivilized individuals. A few tourists also participated in the event, joining the volunteers in the collection.
