Attempted scam in Arborea , at the post office. A young man was about to fall into the trap of a fake postal operator who was practicing one of the most common scams that   pushes to transfer money to other accounts .

It all started when a customer in line at the Postamat noticed that a boy was carrying out operations while listening to a person on the phone. At that point, the woman notified an employee of the office. The latter came out immediately: "I found the customer on the phone in obvious difficulty - says the employee of Poste Italiane - I asked him to hand me the person on the phone and so I spoke to the interlocutor who told me that he was carrying out a paper replacement . At that point I promptly suggested to the customer not to carry out any operation and I went back to my station ".

But it doesn't stop there. "Immediately after I realized that the customer was still continuing with the operation - the employee goes on - I ran outside again and, looking at the monitor, I realized that he was making a top-up of 3 thousand and 500 euros . I canceled the operation and let the interlocutor pass again, threatening him to file a complaint. He hung up, while the customer thanked me ”.

Rita Delrio, director of the provincial branch of Oristano, after the incident takes the opportunity to give some suggestions: " Be wary of requests for data, in general never reply to e-mails, text messages and calls asking for personal codes ".
