Arbatax, illness while bathing: tourist dies on the beach

A Roman tourist died this morning due to an illness in the water .
The woman, originally from Piedmont but transplanted to Lazio, was at Capannina , the western beach of Arbatax. The rescuers, who arrived on site within a few minutes, carried out a cardiac massage but without positive results. Every attempt to save her from death was in vain.
The woman had arrived at the beach with her husband. The Tortolì carabinieri were also on site to investigate the case.
The body was transported to the Nostra Signora della Mercede hospital in Lanusei.
