Record temperatures continue in Sardinia, particularly in the Nuoro area. After last week's hottest temperatures in Orani, one of Italy's hottest cities, temperatures exceeded 47 degrees Celsius today in the birthplace of artist Costantino Nivola: 47.6, according to data published by the network of weather stations operated by the Regional Agency for Environmental Protection of Sardinia (ARPAS).

Still in the Nuoro area, in Dorgali the temperature reached 43.5 degrees, while in Ottana , not far from Orani, it reached 43.4 degrees.

Extreme heat also in the south with 43.3 degrees in Villacidro and 43.2 in Domus de Maria .
