Over €5 billion, half of which is earmarked for projects commissioned by the Region: this is Anas's commitment to Sardinia. Claudio Andrea Gemm, CEO of the company that manages the state road network, announced the investment in Cagliari.
There are approximately 3,000 kilometers of highways on the island. Maximum commitment is being made on Highway 131: "We're resolving the critical issues," said the CEO. Gemme emphasized that over the past year, Anas has paid companies a net sum of approximately €260 million for new construction and maintenance.
Together with Regional Councillor for Public Works Antonio Piu, he reviewed the 10 projects covered by the agreement between ANAS and the Region: those previously overseen by former President Christian Solinas and for which a steering committee has now been established. These include the Sassari-Alghero motorway, whose completion is at an advanced stage, Highway 195 bis, the Olbia-Arzachena-Palau sections, and Highway 130.
