An armored van stopped at the Nuoro exit due to a flat tire: Carabinieri on alert in Pratosardo.

A flat tire, an inconvenience that can happen to any driver, was enough to trigger a surveillance device this morning around an armored van forced to stop at the Nuoro exit, before the Pratosardo tunnels.

The Carabinieri responded to the scene and set up a security guard to allow workers to replace the damaged tire in maximum safety.

It's not yet known whether the vehicle was carrying cash at the time of the breakdown, but the unusual incident had many passing motorists suspecting the worst. Fortunately, it was just a minor puncture.
