The preliminary hearing against some operators of the "Monsignor Angioni" assisted health residence in Flumini di Quartu , accused of ill-treatment of patients with Alzheimer's or other serious pathologies , ended with the indictment of a part of the defendants.

According to the prosecutor's accusations, some of the guests were insulted and humiliated during their stay in the RSA . The investigation by prosecutor Maria Virginia Boi ended with the request for indictment of eight people , all employees or managers of the structure, managed by the Religious Congregation of the Good Shepherd Sisters.

Six of them chose the ordinary rite before the Gup of the Court, Manuela Anzani , who sent them to trial: the trial will begin in January. Instead, two opted for alternative rites: for Rita Contu the non-place to proceed was pronounced due to the statute of limitations , while Letizia Contu plea bargained for two years with a suspended sentence. For all the accusation is of ill-treatment.
