The Sassari Local Health Authority's flu vaccination campaign continues in northwest Sardinia with the first Open Day of the autumn season, featuring a special guest: the mayor of Alghero, Raimondo Cacciotto, who received the flu vaccine this morning and launched an appeal to the public.
"I'm getting vaccinated because I believe it's a gesture of great responsibility and a gesture of care for ourselves, for those around us, and for the community as a whole. Health is a collective good that we must care for, especially by ensuring the safety and well-being of the most vulnerable," said Cacciotto.
The campaign, which features administrators as special spokespersons, aims to highlight the importance of vaccination and reinforce the message of prevention and responsibility towards the most vulnerable populations, particularly the elderly and those with chronic diseases.
