Vandals and thieves have targeted the Primo Pescato market in Alghero. And it is not the first time. Unknown individuals forced the door of the structure to enter inside, causing significant damage. The loot turned out to be small, only a few kilos of fish, but the seriousness of the act remains, which is stigmatized by the president of the Environment Commission Christian Mulas.

"This shameful act," Mulas says, "represents a further attack on one of the city's most important resources and a serious threat to the safety of market operators . The Alghero community cannot tolerate similar acts that undermine work and trust in places that are symbols of the local economy."

This morning, the Councilor for Economic Development Ornella Piras and Mulas himself intervened, expressing solidarity with the market operators and reaffirming their commitment to ensuring the safety of the structure . The police and municipal police promptly arrived on site to carry out investigations to identify the perpetrators.
