The inaugural flight to Paris Olry operated by Volotea takes off today from Alghero airport. With two flights a week, every Monday and Friday, and a total of 21,600 seats on sale, the new route, according to the airport's management, "represents an important innovation for the company's network in Sardinia and strengthens the bond between the Riviera del Corallo and the French capital".
Not only that. «By also operating in the low season months, this route contributes to deseasonalizing tourist flows: a strategic choice that aims to support the local economy not only in the summer months, but also in less crowded periods, offering new opportunities to the tourism sector and local operators».
In addition to the new connection to Paris Orly, the first flights to Florence and Bordeaux will also take off in the coming weeks with the same airline.
