The hydrogen train ended up in the spotlight of the village committee of Sa Segada-Tanca Farrà , in a meeting which was also attended by the mayor Mario Conoci, the councilor for traffic Emiliano Piras, the president of the commission Tatiana Argiolas, the municipal councilors Valdo Di Nolfo and Mimmo Pirisi and the manager Michele Fois.

More than three hours of debate in which all the perplexities emerged regarding the preliminary project of an experimental hydrogen railway section that will connect the Alghero airport to Sassari passing through Mamuntanas (where, moreover, the production and storage station of the hydrogen) crossing the villages of Sa Segada and Tanca Farrà.

A plan financed with 170 million euros under the PNRR which envisages a section of about 6 km which involves not only Alghero, but also part of the metropolitan area of Sassari « with very invasive effects for the areas concerned and the possibility of success very limited, just think of the disaster of the hydrogen trains present in many parts of Italy and Europe», they report from the township committee. Councilor Piras concluded with the commitment to forward to the regional councilor all the critical issues and requests that emerged in the various meetings with citizens.

"We appreciate that the municipal administration immediately made itself available to discuss the topic with the territory in order to listen to the various perplexities and requests of the citizens concerned and beyond, participating in the meeting in an active and timely manner", they close from the Sa committee Segada-Tanca will do.
