Alghero, another car set on fire in the night: "It's a security alarm"

Yet another act of vandalism against a car regularly parked on the side of the road in Alghero .

During the night, the arsonists set fire to a Lancia Dedra in viale Giovanni XXIII with flammable liquid or a paper bomb . Another small car was also damaged, while the fire blackened the facade of the adjacent building , burning the curtains of a commercial activity.

The firefighters of the Alghero detachment intervened with hydrants shortly before two in the morning. The carabinieri are also at the scene.

The UDC has expressed strong concern and will prepare a question on the security issue, as group leader Christian Mulas anticipates.

The Unione di Centro group had already asked the mayor on other occasions to request a meeting with the Prefect . "It would be the third arson attack to take place in Viale Giovanni XXIII - says Mulas - we cannot pass off these episodes as accidents".
