Visit to the town hall of Cagliari and meeting with the mayor Paolo Truzzu for the actor and director Antonio Albanese, in the city for the inauguration of the Teatro Lirico season with his "Gloria", which for the occasion will have a staging inspired by the architecture of a Nuragic sacred well.

Welcomed by the mayor, Albanese stayed in the Palazzo Civico in via Roma for over an hour, admiring the most evocative rooms of Palazzo Bacaredda.

Between the mayor's office, the wedding hall, the council chamber and the Sala del Retablo, the artist was particularly interested in the works of Francesco Ciusa and the sculpture of Pinuccio Sciola exhibited on the second floor of the Town Hall.

Between one room and another Albanese, it is explained in a note from the Municipality, «had the opportunity to inquire from the mayor about life in Cagliari and the peculiarities of a city that immediately impressed him favorably».

At the end of the visit, the actor went to the Teatro Lirico to devote himself to rehearsals for the premiere of the show which will be staged on Friday 10 at 20.30.
