The "Friend Help Desk" against violence against women was inaugurated today in Cagliari. It will be operational in the "I Fenicotteri" shopping center on the last Saturday of every month from 9 to 12.

Ribbon cutting in the presence of the counter's testimonial, the Italian sprinter Dalia Kaddari, with the Equal Opportunities Department and the Equal Opportunities Council Commission.

Also present at the ceremony was the president of the Equal Opportunities Commission, Stefania Loi: «The event is part of those of "Feminas - Cagliari against violence" and we have decided to support it because it is essential to listen and give voice to those who find themselves in these difficult conditions, due to the fault of other people. We have an obligation to welcome those who experience these delicate moments and doing so in a "physical" desk, with human contact between those who turn to this service and the operators present, is an added value that proves particularly useful. Furthermore, this is a way to revisit the shopping center which becomes not only a place dedicated to shopping but also a place to intercept different needs of users. In an approach and usefulness that extends to the social aspect, inclusion and sensitivity in listening to anyone who needs it."
