He was traveling in the wrong direction on Statale 131 dcn and crashed head-on into another car.
An 83-year-old man from Sedilo is in serious condition. The old man, it was he who traveled against the traffic, was transported by helicopter rescue to the civil hospital of Sassari in red code.
The accident occurred in the direction of Nuoro between Ghilarza and Ottana . The driver of the other car could do nothing to dodge the 83-year-old's vehicle.
The impact was violent, but all the occupants of the other car were practically unharmed.
The firefighters, health workers and carabinieri of the Compagnia di Ghilarza intervened on the spot, trying to reconstruct the path taken by the pensioner.
