After leaving the Quartu restaurant without paying, the "distracted" customers return and pay: "We misunderstood each other."

They had left without paying after an aperitif at a bar on the Quartu coast, in the Bellavista area, but after the owner of the Mai Tai launched an appeal on social media, they turned around and showed up to pay the bill.

“We misunderstood each other,” was the justification, and so everything ended well, the bill paid and no hard feelings.

"Unfortunately, it wasn't the first time something like this had happened," explained Mai Tai manager Giulia Fresu. "In fact, it often happens that someone 'forgets' to pay the bill, but now we're a little fed up, so we posted that on Facebook, appealing to common sense. Of course, we would never have published the video, as we wrote, due to privacy concerns."

And finally, the appeal was heard. The four young men who had consumed Spritz, Prosecco, and a platter returned to the bar and took care of the situation.
