He risked 4 years and 2 months in prison but, yesterday in court in Sassari, he was acquitted because the fact does not subsist on one of the most serious charges, that of sexual violence.

In addition to the accusation of having forced his partner to undergo intimate relationships, a 47-year-old from Sassari was also accused of family mistreatment, again against the woman between 2020 and 2021, which however was declassified by the panel of judges, chaired by Monia Adami, alongside Valentina Nuvoli and Paolo Bulla, in individual assaults, deciding not to proceed due to lack of complaint.

He was also accused of arbitrarily exercising his rights because, according to the prosecution, by demanding the restitution of 250 euros from his partner he threatened to burn her car. The crime has been downgraded to threat and the 47-year-old, defended by the lawyer Stefano Porcu, will have to pay a 400 euro fine. The lawyer Martina Salaris will assist the civil party.
