The trial for abuse of office against the president of the Region Christian Solinas will open on 8 September.

Today in Cagliari, before the second criminal section of the court presided over by Giovanni Massidda , the judges unified the proceedings with what sees the accused, for the same case, the former councilor for Personnel (now Agriculture) Valeria Satta, also accused of attempted bribery.

Prosecutor Andrea Vacca, owner of the file, disputes the legitimacy of the appointments of the director general of the presidency of the regional council, the lawyer Silvia Curto and the director general of the civil protection Antonio Pasquale Belloi.

For the same affair, in abbreviated form, was sentenced last October to 2 years and eight months by the judge Ermengarda Ferrarese, the head of the cabinet of the presidency, the magistrate of the Council of State Maria Grazia Vivarelli, also accused of undue induction.

Prosecutor Vacca is the same one who recently closed another investigation into the appointments that he hypothesizes for various reasons and each for his own charges, against 21 people, the crimes of corruption, unlawful induction, disturbance of freedom of choice of the contractor , abuse of office. Among these stand out once again the governor Solinas, the Sardinian regional councilor Nanni Lancioni, the Forza Italia councilor Alessandra Zedda, the regional councilor Anita Pili, the president of Confindustria Sardegna Maurizio De Pascale, the public manager Massimo Temussi and other regional managers and entrepreneurs. The hypothesis is that selection commissions were specifically selected to steer the appointments of managers.
