Abbasanta, cars set on fire in a parking lot

Vehicles caught fire around 6:30 pm in a private car park a short distance from Abbasanta train station.

To put out the flames, the firefighters of the local detachment intervened, supported by a fire truck that arrived from the headquarters in Oristano.

Despite the speed of the action, some vehicles suffered damage, but many were saved. The causes of the fire are still being ascertained.

The police were also on site to assist them as far as they were concerned.
