The stage will feature artists of varying degrees of popularity, but one thing is certain: for New Year's Eve 2026, Sardinia is the Italian region offering the most street performances, with 18. This will have a direct economic impact —according to experts, who predict a turnout of 200,000 people and an average per capita spending of 100 euros— of €20 million.

"We're investing €3 million in promotion for the program, €750,000 more than in 2024," says the regional councilor for tourism, Franco Cuccureddu, who also promises an increase in air connections for the holiday season.

Meanwhile, accommodations in northern Sardinia are already expected to be fully booked. For now, only on New Year's Eve: operators are hoping for an extension of the full operating period.
