Giacomo Talana, 41 years old, a soldier from the Decimomannu base, originally from Siliqua but resident in Uta , is the motorcyclist who was the victim of a tragic road accident that occurred at 3.30 last night in Macchiareddu, in the Capoterra area, at the new roundabout in the industrial area.

According to an initial reconstruction of the incident, the 41-year-old lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a traffic light. He was then thrown from the saddle and fell to the ground.
Passing motorists raised the alarm. Carabinieri and emergency personnel then arrived on the scene, but attempts to revive the soldier were unsuccessful.
