A marijuana greenhouse in the bedroom: 36-year-old under arrest in Villaspeciosa

An unemployed 36-year-old, with a clean record and originally from Cagliari, was arrested yesterday afternoon in Villaspeciosa by the Falchi della Squadra Mobile for the crime of detention for the purpose of selling and cultivating drugs.

For some days the policemen had placed the man's country house under observation. Entering the house with the excuse of having to notify a traffic offense for which the driving license was expected to be withdrawn, they noticed a metal box containing about 350 grams of marijuana. the search then made it possible to discover, inside the bedroom, a real "indoor" greenhouse complete with lights and ventilation system, fully functional, with everything necessary for the intensive cultivation of marijuana.

Also seized dozens of seeds for plants with a very high percentage of thc and fertilizers for the various vegetative cycles, in addition to 875 euros in cash, probable proceeds from drug sales.

The man was placed under house arrest at his residence in Cagliari pending the validation hearing set for today.
