A massive fire broke out in the countryside of Orani, on the slope facing Oniferi, in the localities of Costa and Cunbentu, a short distance from homes. Firefighting teams responded to the scene, working to contain the flames and prevent the blaze from spreading further, fueled by the weather and high temperatures.

Three helicopters from the regional firefighting fleet are also supporting the operations, continuously delivering water from the Lasasai lake to counter the advance of the fire front.
