A house in Sant'Antonio di Gallura on fire: a tenant was burned.

Fears erupted last night after a fire broke out in a ground-floor apartment on Via Mascagni in Sant'Antonio di Gallura.

The alarm was raised around 8pm and the Arzachena firefighters intervened on the scene.

Their arrival was prompt, but the flames had already caused extensive damage inside the home: the team's work prevented the fire from spreading to surrounding buildings.

There were no serious injuries: just a few minor burns, but the tenant was very scared.

The Carabinieri and 118 emergency workers were also present in Via Mascagni.
