Tragedy touched on the beach of Solanas: a one and a half year old child risked being suffocated by a grape stuck in his throat .

There were dramatic moments: rescued by a volunteer and a doctor who were on the beach, he was then saved by the intervention of the Sinnai 118 rescue team which in the summer has its position in Solanas.

Then a medical ambulance and a helicopter arrived and the little boy was taken to the Brotzu: he expelled a piece of grape and resumed breathing .

It happened this afternoon. Immediate reporting to the 118 operations center. The first to help the child were a girl from Quartu and a doctor. They practiced the Heimlich maneuver which had no effect on the child who went cyanotic . Meanwhile, the Sinnai rescue team reached the beach in two minutes practicing heart massage. Then the child finally spat out a piece of the grape, starting to breathe autonomously. Still very much tried, he was then accompanied to the hospital for all the investigations together with his parents in shock for what happened and for the dramatic moments passed .
