Moments of tension today in Carloforte where a fire , fueled by the strong mistral wind , threatened houses in the Punta delle Oche area .

To ensure the safety of residents, the evacuation of two rural homes has been ordered. The Regional Forestry Corps is responding with the support of the Super Puma from the Fenosu operations base.

Another fire that broke out this morning in a forest near Teulada, also on the southwestern coast of the island, is under control.
