For about an hour, Viale Monastir, at the Cagliari exit near the Esso gas station , has been closed to traffic due to a head-on collision. After the initial collision, one of the vehicles involved ended its journey, colliding with four other cars.

Fortunately, the injuries are not serious: 118 transported one person to the emergency room with a yellow code. Municipal police officers are on site, conducting surveys and carrying out the necessary procedures to safely reopen the road, along with firefighters: it appears a car has leaked a significant amount of diesel fuel. In the meantime, traffic has been diverted.

According to initial reconstructions, the driver and passenger of the car that caused the accident fled immediately after the accident. Officers are currently working to locate them.
