The visit to Sardinia by Matteo Salvini, leader of the League, deputy prime minister and minister of infrastructure and transport continues.

After yesterday's tour between Cagliari, Bari Sardo and Orgosolo , the second day is dedicated to a series of institutional appointments. At 9 Salvini met with the president of the Region Christian Solinas at Villa Devoto. It was an opportunity to take stock of the island's infrastructure - sources from MIT report - among other things, the minister reiterated his intention to urge telephone companies to improve the quality of connections and lines throughout Sardinia. Also present at the summit was the regional coordinator of the League and president of the Sardinian Assembly Michele Pais.

It is possible, but there is still no confirmation, that the protagonists of the table have made a pass on the next regional elections. Just yesterday, when asked about the hypothetical re-nomination of Solinas for the presidency , Salvini replied that the territories will decide on the matter, and therefore the Sardinians.

After Villa Devoto, the deputy prime minister and his staff stopped at the regional council: among the scheduled meetings, also the one with the mayor of Cagliari Paolo Truzzu. Salvini should leave in the early afternoon. First, a press point is planned outside the Regional Council, on the Via Roma side.
