While the controversy over Empoli-Cagliari continues, due to the decision (still without reasons) to prevent the Sardinian fans from travelling away , the rossoblù are increasing their load in view of the very delicate salvation clash on Sunday at 3pm . And they are doing it with one more player: Adam Obert. The defender, for the first time since his injury during the break with Slovakia , trained partially with the group this morning. His chances of at least being called up are increasing.
At the Crai Sport Center, Cagliari held a session dedicated to technique, athletic phase and tactics: exercises on ball possession and, to close, a match. Florinel Coman and Gabriele Zappa have been regularly in the group for a week now , the first not used last Sunday against Monza and the second only entered in the 90th minute. For them the condition is growing and in particular the defender is in the running for a starting shirt, after having already missed the Roma match before the break.
Tomorrow, another training session, always in the morning, on the eve of Empoli-Cagliari . Then on Saturday the finishing touches, the coach's press conference and the departure for Tuscany. A particular challenge for coach Davide Nicola, goalkeeper Elia Caprile, defender Sebastiano Luperto and midfielder Răzvan Marin: last season they were all with the Tuscans and obtained salvation in the last minute of the last matchday, with a 2-1 at the end against Roma.
