Investigations by the Carabinieri in Lipari are underway after numerous posters with the words "Wanted slave" were hung in the historic center of the small island in the province of Messina. The soldiers sift through the images recorded by the surveillance cameras to trace the perpetrators of the provocative gesture made on the occasion of May 1st, Labor Day.

The posters read: “For the summer season 800 euros per month, 10 hours a day, no severance pay. Irregular contract or black salary. Free day? Ha ha… Those interested are invited to discuss with their colleagues, to activate solidarity, to organize themselves and to assert their rights. Happy 1st May ".

"It would have been more appropriate and honest, without entrenching oneself in anonymity, to have the courage to report to the competent bodies, which have always carried out the necessary checks, in this sense, and recorded the irregularities found, including what is indicated in the manifesto", is was the comment of Maurizio Cipicchia, president of Assoimprese Aeolian.
