Ghizlane Mouthair , the 41-year-old tourist who died last Sunday during a suspended crossing on a zip-line in Valtellina , did not feel ill before falling into the void, she died from trauma sustained in the fall .

This was confirmed by the autopsy on the body of the woman of Moroccan origins carried out by the medical examiner Luca Tajana.

Sondrio's prosecutor, Piero Basilone, explained that "it is possible to cautiously formulate some assessments, due to the clarity of the first macroscopic results".

Therefore, it is ruled out that the 41-year-old died before falling from the Fly Emotion aerial cable.

"During the autopsy examination , clear signs of death resulting from multiple traumas from precipitation and the absence of signs that could lead to an illness prior to the precipitation which led to a heart attack were detected", added Basilone.

The investigations into the case were entrusted to the Alpine Rescue soldiers of the Sondrio financial police. There are currently 5 people under investigation for manslaughter .
