Yesterday evening he was at the Meazza for the Champions League semi-final Inter-Barcelona and at the final whistle of the referee he had stayed to celebrate the victory of the Nerazzurri team, when another fan fell ill. He, a twenty-nine year old nurse from Isernia, did not think twice and helped the other Inter fan, who went into cardiac arrest: the man, a forty year old, is now hospitalized at the San Carlo in Milan.

"Being prepared for these eventualities, I immediately intervened with cardiac massage, waiting for the intervention of the paramedics who arrived promptly", says Antonello Chiodi, a twenty-nine-year-old from Isernia. "Then I helped the rescuers with the defibrillation. The resuscitation doctor took care of finishing the intervention, until the heart started beating again . The man was taken to the hospital. However, we managed, at least for the moment, to avoid the worst".

"I'm not a hero," Chiodi concludes . "I just did what had to be done at that moment and what I learned in my profession, let's just hope that person is saved because that's the most important thing."
