He is 21 years old and is accused of firing a pellet gun at the two ANPI members on the afternoon of Saturday, April 25, during the Liberation Day demonstration in Rome. A breakthrough in the investigation follows the shots that struck Rossana Gabrieli and Nicola Fasciano, 62 and 66, who suffered minor injuries.
The young man reportedly admitted his responsibilities and said he was part of the "Jewish Brigade".
The video surveillance footage was crucial: after acquiring the footage, investigators traced the license plate of the white scooter driven by the young man.
