« I don't get supplies here either », he had admitted to the press shortly before being renamed the "most expensive petrol station in Italy" . But Ip , owner of the Trani plant , didn't like the declaration , which decided to cancel the contract with the Centrone brothers and to present an urgent appeal to the court, for damage to its image and alleged violation of a clause of the stipulated agreements : the one that obliges the managers to buy the fuel from the company.

According to the agreements, the brothers were supposed to supply the plant with 4,000 liters of fuel, difficult to resell given that the parent company - in the last 3 years - has not adjusted the prices to the market . And in fact in the station managed by the two, a liter of petrol cost 2 euros and 34 cents , a liter of diesel 2 euros and 44 cents . High prices, so as to discourage anyone from stocking up there. And the profit, whatever the list price, was always around 3 cents a litre.

The brothers are now opposing the company's decision, and are asking – through their lawyer – to be able to continue working in the distributor with the new prices. The judge will decide whether the resolution of the parties is fair or not . Pending the hearing, scheduled for June 5, the filling station will remain closed and Centrone will only be able to work in the car wash at the service station.
