Fear this morning on the Tuscan coast: an earthquake of magnitude 3.5 (first estimate of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology) was recorded in front of Livorno at 6.21.

The quake, clearly felt by the population especially on the upper floors of the buildings, had a hypocenter at a depth of 13 km and an epicenter 15 km from the city. The next two, a few minutes later, were of less intensity.

At the moment no damage to people or things has been reported. For today, informs the Civil Protection, schools will remain closed in order to check for any critical issues in the structures.
