The click-through day for the appliance bonus begins on Tuesday, November 18th at 7:00 a.m. Consumers can apply via the IO app or on the dedicated website www.bonuselettrodomestici.it. The bonus consists of a contribution in the form of a voucher , used to purchase energy-efficient appliances by users replacing obsolete devices. The aim of the measure, explains the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, "is to encourage energy savings and promote the proper disposal of old appliances."

The voucher covers up to 30% of the purchase cost, with a maximum of €100 per household and €200 for households with an ISEE (Income and Social Security) of less than €25,000 per year. For 2025, the total resources allocated to end users amount to €48.1 million, drawn from the fund established by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIMIT). The IT platform for submitting applications is managed by PagoPA, while the processing activities are carried out by Invitalia, designated by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport as the agency managing the measure.

Types of household appliances

The contribution, in the form of a voucher, is granted to adult end users and can be spent on the purchase of one appliance per household. Only highly energy-efficient appliances—as defined in Article 3 of the Interministerial Decree of September 3, 2025—such as washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens, and hobs are eligible.

How to make the request

Applications can be submitted starting 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, via the IO app or the bonuselettrodomestici.it website, using your SPID (Public Digital Identity System) or CIE (Electronic Identity Card). To submit an application, you will need to log in to the IO app or dedicated website, follow the guided procedure, declare that you own an obsolete appliance to be replaced with a new one of the same commercial category but with a higher energy rating, and provide information regarding your current ISEE 2025 value. Applications will be open until all available funds are exhausted: new applications will be placed on a waiting list and processed in chronological order. The grant will be paid until all available funds are exhausted and the initiative concludes.

How to buy

At the time of purchase, the store operator accesses the dedicated portal with the credentials received, selects the product the user wishes to purchase from the online list of appliances, enters the sale price and the voucher code presented. The online platform calculates the discount amount on the invoice. At the time of purchase, it is mandatory to return the old appliance to the seller for proper disposal.

Voucher expiration

The voucher is valid for 15 calendar days from the date of issue. If this period elapses without being spent, it automatically expires at 11:59 PM on the fifteenth day from the date of issue. The end user may resubmit a new application, subject to the availability of funds and the chronological order of registration of applications by the IT Platform.

Where to use it

The bonus can be used at participating physical or online stores registered on the IT platform.
