«The cat was very sick, he is 13 years old. Yes it's true, he was accompanied in a blue car to the vet. My daughter told me to get him checked out right away, and I honestly say I would do it again. If I have forced myself to use the car I take responsibility for it, but I did everything in good faith. There was never any awareness on my part of committing abuse." Thus Gianfranco Miccichè, who this morning was questioned by the investigating judge as part of the investigation by the Palermo Prosecutor's Office, in which he is being investigated for embezzlement, fraud and false certifications for the use of the car assigned by the Sicilian Assembly as a former president.

In Micciché the prosecutors accuse the illegitimate use of the blue car, used, according to what emerges from the investigation, for private purposes, and of having confirmed service missions, never carried out, by the driver - also under investigation - who allegedly collected thus undue compensation.

Both responded to the investigating judge. According to what we learn, the regional deputy has partially admitted some conduct contested against him by the magistrates. The investigating judge imposed a residence ban on Miccichè in Cefalù. The driver is required to reside in Palermo and Monreale.
