A fairly strong earthquake was felt this morning in the Milanese area.

It happened at 11.34, according to Ingv, which located the epicenter in Bonate di Sotto in the province of Bergamo, in the west area: the magnitude is 4.4, the depth 26 kilometers.

The shock was felt throughout the province, up to Milan: on the social networks various reports of Milanese citizens who were scared for a moment. In various areas of the city the buildings shook and many people took to the streets.

Also in the Lecco area she felt a lot, in Lecco all the high schools were evacuated.

In the Bergamo area some schools have been evacuated. Also in Brianza, in Vimercate, a school was evacuated: there the shock was felt very strong, shaky mirrors, trembling water heaters, chandeliers that moved. In front of a supermarket there was also a slight road accident caused by the panic created by the earthquake.

At the moment, no reports of damage and requests for help have reached the fire brigade operations rooms.
