The principal of the Montale high school in Rome, after the storm that hit her for the alleged relationship with one of her adult students , says she is ready to sue: "We will file libel complaints in the press - said her lawyer Alessandro Tomassetti - for a serious violation of respect for the human and professional dignity of my client and for the open violation of the limits of the right to press, as was highlighted by the Privacy Guarantor on this situation ''.

Pending the complaints, a new block comes from the Privacy Guarantor. The Authority has extended the limitation of any further dissemination of messages exchanged between the headmaster and the student to other newspapers, "details relating to personal relationships, including those relating to the sexual sphere", says the Guarantor, recalling that "in the dissemination of personal data for journalistic, the right to report must protect the dignity, rights and fundamental freedoms of the person. A principle, also referred to in the Deontological Rules, to be interpreted with particular rigor in reference to information relating to the sexual sphere ".

The vice president of the institute, Luigi Botticelli, also spoke on the matter. "There have been some misunderstandings. She was right to take over the paperwork, God forbid. She is inexperienced as we all were at the beginning but it is right that she tried to manage".

The affair has also divided the opinions of the students themselves, between those who defend it because both involved "are of age", and those who ask for their resignation. To find out the fate of her future working, the head teacher will have to wait for the decision of the regional school office which, after having heard all the parties involved, will close its inspection report.
