A 26-year-old boy – Riccardo Claris – was stabbed to death last night in Bergamo.

The murder in the stadium area, on the street, seems to have been the culmination of an argument. On the spot, in via Ghirardelli, shortly after one o'clock, 118 sent emergency vehicles, but there was nothing that could be done for the young man.

The victim was allegedly stabbed in the back by another boy, a 19-year-old, who later turned himself in to the police . It seems that the latter acted to defend his brother during a violent attack that involved a total of ten young people.

According to an initial reconstruction, two groups of fans, one from Atalanta, which included the victim, and one from Inter, which included the 19-year-old, had a heated argument in a bar in Borgo Santa Caterina. The fight then continued, and the 26-year-old was killed near the entrance to his home. The blade and handle of the ceramic knife used were found a short distance from the body.
