Shipwreck in Lampedusa, 2-year-old girl dies after rescue
More than 40 migrants recovered by Coast Guard and fishermen

Shipwreck in the waters off the island of Lampedusa.
The accident involved a boat with dozens of migrants on board: 43 people were recovered on the rocks of Capo Ponente by the patrol boats of the Port Authority and two young people by two fishermen from Lampedusa on the coast of Muro Vecchio.
A two-year-old girl died aboard the rescue unit. 53 of them had left from Sfax in Tunisia. The other eight occupants are missing.
