The Bologna Public Prosecutor's Office has closed an investigation accusing the designer and entrepreneur Elisabetta Franchi of stalking her former consultant. Franchi would be accused, at the end of the investigations carried out by the Flying Squad, of behaviors aimed at publicly and privately discrediting the other woman, with whom she had a friendship in the past. Among other things, a post on Instagram that provoked numerous defamatory comments, thus creating a 'shitstorm' against the offended person, would be contested.

The message in question was published on the stylist's profile, an account followed by hundreds of thousands of people: "Have you ever experienced the nightmare - she said - of discovering that your best friend, that person you trusted blindly, not only betrayed you, but did it in the most despicable way possible?" The followers soon identified the former friend, indicating her with her nickname. The former consultant, a freelancer who works as a broker, filed a complaint, assisted by the lawyer Chiara Rinaldi. The investigations have ascertained how Franchi's behavior, the harassment and the threats, have generated fear and anxiety in the other woman and a change in her lifestyle habits, preventing her from peacefully carrying out her daily activities.

Among the contested episodes, there was also a visit by Franchi to the headquarters of a bank, where the alleged victim also worked to manage the designer's assets : addressing the top management of the bank, Franchi allegedly accused his former friend of being unprofessional and incapable, asking them to act accordingly, which then did not happen.

"Either you have the good sense to tell the truth or I will be a tsunami in full flow", is the message that Franchi, in August, sent to the former consultant. The threat was then carried out, according to investigators, by the subsequent post which was followed by the 'shitstorm' against the woman. It all started when the entrepreneur had attributed to her a relationship with her partner, telling various people, with messages considered denigrating to mutual friends and also writing to the victim's partner. Accusations from which Franchi will be able to defend herself, asking to be heard or presenting defense briefs.
