Sexual violence on two patients: gynecologist Antinori acquitted

Acquitted, "because the fact does not exist".

This is the sentence issued by the Milan court at the trial that saw Severino Antinori, gynecologist and "pioneer" of assisted fertilization, accused of sexual violence.

The judges also acquitted the doctor, who came under investigation after the accusations of two patients , also from the other charges.

Antinori, on the other hand, was definitively sentenced in 2020 to 6 years and 6 months for the well-known case of "egg robbery".

"The ordeal that Professor Antinori suffered was the result of an injustice that overwhelmed him for mere prejudice", the comment after the sentence of the lawyer Gabriele Maria Vitiello.
