Sardinians in Dubai are worried: "Warships are sailing off the city. And the Foreign Ministry isn't responding."
Gallura lawyer Marco Petitta: "We're worried not only about the attacks, but also about the uncertainty. As of today, we don't know when we'll be able to return."On the fourth day of the war between the United States, Israel and Iran , with Tehran targeting the Gulf countries with missiles and drones, anxiety and concern are growing for the Sardinians in Dubai who have no information, not even a rough estimate, on the methods and date of their return.
Gallura lawyer Marco Petitta is in the UAE city and today again asked in vain for direct contact with the Foreign Ministry. Petitta explains: "The appearance of a warship off the city is obviously something that has alarmed us, even more than we already were. But the fact that scares us most is the uncertainty . The Foreign Ministry's Crisis Unit is virtually unreachable, and the Italian Consulate is simply telling us to wait and use the Foreign Ministry's app, which we are already doing. But we are learning, from other sources, that Fly Emirates is gradually canceling all flights due to the closure of its airspace . We understand that there are approximately 8,000 Italians present in the UAE."
